  • Sinusoidal AC current measurements

  • Measuring range up to 6 A

  • Galvanic isolation between input and output

  • Class accuracy 0.5

  • does not require an auxiliary power supply

  • Housing for DIN rail mounting

Description

The MT408 is intended for measuring and monitoring single-phase currents. The current input is electrically isolated from the mains by the use of a current transformer. The signal is rectified, smoothed and amplified into an independent DC output current. The output signal of the MT408 can be used to control PLCs, PCs, microprocessor systems, displays, alarm units, etc. The current input can be connected either directly to the mains or to an external power supply. The current input can be connected either directly to a low-voltage network or via a suitable current transformer (with an output current of 1A or 5A).
